Rolling out{baseUrl}/api/rates?fromCurrency={from}&toCurrency={to}Returns the current rate for one currency pair, including the sell side and when the rate took effect.
Authentication

Headers
Query parameters
ngn, usd, gbp.ngn, usd, gbp.Behaviour
Send both currencies or neither. Sending only one is rejected with 400; sending neither lists every rate (see List rates).
The rate is returned in the direction you ask for: buyRate is fromCurrency → toCurrency and sellRate the reverse.
A same-currency pair (e.g. usd → usd) returns buyRate and sellRate of 1.
A pair Orbita doesn't offer returns 400 naming the pair.
Response
data is a single rate object. Every response is wrapped in the standard envelope.
USD/NGN.fromCurrency → toCurrency, as people quote it. For NGN pairs it's naira per unit of the other currency — e.g. 1550 for usd→ngn (₦1,550 for each $1 you convert). For other pairs it's toCurrency per 1 fromCurrency, e.g. 1.08 for eur→usd.toCurrency → fromCurrency), quoted the same way for that direction. For NGN pairs it's also naira per unit, so it compares directly with buyRate — e.g. 1600 for ngn→usd (₦1,600 for each $1). For other pairs it's fromCurrency per 1 toCurrency. If Orbita isn't currently offering that direction, this is the last recorded rate and you can't convert at it; null when there's none.null for general market rates, which have no fixed expiry.Errors
